Hey gang,
It’s been a little while since I last posted. I’m pleased to announce that the creation of this portfolio website was not in vain, and with it I was able to secure a job as Marketing Coordinator at a small economic development organization in the town where I live. It’s been an exciting onboarding process with lots to learn and do, and along with planning a new novel and spending several weekends out of town, I’ve been nothing but busy lately. Hopefully, things will cool off a bit as I continue to get acclimated to my new job.
But enough about me. You’re here to read a story.

The inspiration for this piece came from an idea about a super-human-person, a real lone wolf type, secretly stalking a group of rich oligarchs that had done him wrong and picking them off one by one. Since the idea seemed to fit with Havok’s monthly theme of Pride & Humility, I took the idea off the shelf and wrote the story from the point-of-view of one of the gross and egotistical rich men that our shadowy hero goes after. It was a lot of fun to write, and the editing team at Havok really helped me to bring this piece into a presentable form. I hope you enjoy it.
