This video is a both a promotional video and an animated simulation for the ProSort Systems Sort Assist protocol. Meticulously animated, I had to keep track of nearly one hundred individual animated pigs as they make their way through the finisher barn and are sorted and sent to market. This was one of the most difficult videos to animate that I have done, but the guys at ProSort loved it, as it met their needs exactly.
I won’t go into the details of hog sorting, but there is a ton of thought and work that goes into designing a system that effectively prepares pigs for market, and the same goes for making a video that simulates that. I had a lot of fun using Adobe Animate to create this video and other similar videos, and I believe the finished product makes the process of hog sorting simple enough for anyone to grasp and understand. I also really enjoyed creating Harold the Pig and bringing him to life for the intro and outro of the video.
