“The Crawman” is a short film I wrote and directed as my Capstone to complete my undergraduate degree. It was filmed with a Lumix G7 mirrorless 4K camera over the course of about four weeks. Editing took another few weeks in every spare moment I could find, as it was my last (and busiest) semester of college, and the film premiered at the EU Films Showcase at the end of the term.
Telling the story of a young couple on the verge of divorce, “The Crawman” is a thrilling creature-feature, a love letter to the monster movies I grew up with. I hope it’s as entertaining and enjoyable to watch as it was to make.
